Located in Surrey only one hour from London, Grayshott House has been a private spa and retreat destination since 1965 during which time their holistic approach to beauty, relaxation, exercise and nutrition and developed.
This historic country house was once the home of Alfred, Lord Tennyson (author of "The Charge of the Light Brigade") but has been specifically refurbished to create a calming and serene atmosphere. Set in 47 acres of gardens with woodland, a lake and lawn areas, the grounds are adjacent to 700 acres of Surrey countryside under the preservation of the National Trust due to its outstanding beauty.
Recent awards won by Grayshott Spa include Tatler's Best UK Spa in 2007, Conde Nast Johansens' Most Excellent Spa in 2008 and the Conde Nast Traveller Readers' Favourite UK Spa in 2009.
